My experence's and feelings apon my training in parkour

A short update

Well I Havn't been training much, though I'm back in action im still recovering from my fall, I've been thinking alot about where to go from here and what I need to perfect. In the mean time while thinking about this I've been focusing alot on my tricking, mainly sideflips and frontflips, But none the wiser tricking, my sideflips have improved dramaticly, seeing the nice weather is coming back and that I'm back on my trampoline, I may upload a vid of tricking soon so keep your eyes out, anyway I dont have much to say so tahts about it.

OHhhhhhhh now thats gotta hurt

Heya people. I'm Gonna start off by talking about sat. I was in st albans training as usual when I went to the scaff near crown court which you may have heard about in my earlier posts and I Had been thinking of going for a jump, which includes jumping from one bar to another high up and distant one, I Wouldn't call myself over confident and I felt it was within my skill level. And to be honest I still think it is. but as many traceur's and others would know when you go for something you don't freak out before and not even after but while its happening, this exactly happened to me and to be honest I'm VERY lucky to be alive let alone walking, anyway. I jumped from the pole lower down and my hands caught the scaff. Well at least one of them did, my first hand (Left) gripped it rather nicely and tightly while the other hand the fingers just caught it, and as my other hand was gripped rather tightly I carried on swinging upwards, so by the time I let go I was around 10-11ft in the air. I fell all the way to the floor which was concrete Directly on my back I was VERY lucky as I had hit just to the right of my coxsic and all I have is a little bruise on my bum and back and a nasty arse little graze from it I went to A&E yesterday and the nurse.... well she gave me a right ol' bollocking :P because I hadn't gone the day before. anyway she done some tests on me and said I'm very lucky

But this had my head around more parkour then the injury Why did I do this if I didn't know that this was going to happen? I dont know and really cant say for sure... But I have every intention of being back up and running by this week/next week at the latest.

I've heard tales of traceurs who have had a less fall then I had and were coughing up blood, But yeah It even suprises me but this is actually my first major bail I've ever had and yeah it hurt but at the same time it felt so bloody good that if I could go back in time and make that jump again I'd make it

Anyway thats taht, Laters

Lil update.

I've not really been in a mood to blog really the last few days, but I feel I need to write a update.

I'm not entirely sure why but I've been getting really tired lately. Could be i'm training to much, I dno. but I Have been training harder then I ussually would Last week I trained Friday saterday and sunday. So I'm probably not used to it. But I've been gaining strength both mentally and physically, I Been focusing mainly on my 180 armjumps & catpasses quite a bit and they have both inproved. There is a catpass I was going to try on tuesday, but it rained and I diddn't want to risk my hand slipping because its atleast 6-7Ft And the armjump is just below where you take off. so its pretty hard. I actually have landed it though just not two footed I landed it one, I might go training today little tired though. :P I'm still working on getting rolls on concrete and will get them Its only a small update but meh, I'm tired :P So I might add a edit later.
